There are two courses at J.W. Marriott’s Palm Desert Golf Resort & Spa – The Palm and The Valley. True to Ted Robinson's signature style, there's more water on these two beautifully landscaped championship courses than you can imagine, especially when you consider they are slap in the middle of the desert. They do say, though, that there’s more water lying in the 132-square-mile aquifer that lies just feet below the desert floor than there is sand above it. I was told that if it never rained again, there is enough water underground to keep the Palm Springs area supplied more than 200 years.

Of the two on-property courses, The Palm is my personal favorite. Just across the road from the Marriott, however, you’ll find another spectacular course – the Firecliff at Desert Willow. So, a three-night stay at the J.W. Marriott Resort will provide you with play on three courses the likes of which you’ll not find anywhere else (play at the Firecliff is not included in the package).

Package includes room, 18-holes of golf for one or two on either The Palm or the Valley courses.
