I blogged about the Republic Golf Club earlier in the month, but just in case you missed it, here it is again: The Republic is a late addition to San Antonio’s roster of public access golf courses. It’s also a current qualifying site for the Senior U.S. Open. Built along the banks of the scenic Salado Creek, The Republic Golf Club is a quite tract of old-growth oaks trees, elms and mesquite trees.

Situated only minutes away from downtown San Antonio and its world famous Riverwalk, The Republic Golf Club offers a challenging round of golf on a layout designed not only test your game, but to provide a retreat from the everyday hustle and bustle of big city living.

For complete details of the golf, sightseeing and lodging opportunities in San Antonio, please check out the complete review of San Antonio, Texas and The Republic Golf Club.
