Co-designed by the father and son team of Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus, Jr., the Hammock Creek Golf Club course is located just to the south of Port St. Lucie and west of Stuart. The club has hosted events on the Golden Bear Tour and is said to be a grueling test from the championship tees. . Jack and Jack II have worked their usual magic: most of the holes provide a number of risk/reward decisions and, as always, the good shots are rewarded while the bad ones are punished, sometimes severely. The course will make an interesting day out and a real diversion away from the hustle and bustle around West Palm and Miami.
