The best of the three golf courses at Turning Stone Resort in Verona is also the the longest of the three championship courses. Designed buy the erstwhile Tom Fazio, the tract play a whopping 7,479 yards, and is home to the PGA TOUR's Turning Stone Resort Championship, the only PGA TOUR event held on Native American soil. Atunyote is a parkland golf course featuring vast open stretches, gently rolling hills, a stream with waterfalls, and several lakes.
Kaluhyat Golf Club at Turning Stone
The Kaluhyat Golf Club at Turning Stone is Robert Trent Jones, Jr's contribution to the resort. The layout plays 7,100 yards from the back tees for a par of 72. "This course is marked by dramatic changes in elevation, measuring as high as 50 feet in some areas. Plateau settings offer seemingly endless, spectacular views of the surrounding terrain. Six lakes throughout the course add to the picturesque setting. Kaluhyat is a classic shot-maker's course, where accuracy and strategy are rewarded as much as length."
Shenandoah Golf Club at Turning Stone
Shenandoah at Turning Stone is the third championship layout offered for your enjoyment. offers 18 holes of PGA-level golf in a spectacular natural setting. The course plays 7,129 yards from the tips for a par of 72 and "was built, and is maintained, to comply with stringent Audubon International standards for environmental protection and preservation. It features wooded parkland holes, open pastures that capture the links feel, and beautifully simple low country-style holes. Designed, constructed and maintained to tour standards."
