The Harbourfront Restaurant – Bermuda - BUEI, Pembroke Hall, 40 Crow Lane, Pembroke HM 19. 441-295-4207 The Harbourfront Restaurant has recently moved to its new location right on the harbour at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute (BUEI).
The new dining room is certainly an improvement over the old one, but it’s the stunning view over the harbour that makes it so special. Even the move away from Hamilton has not diminished the restaurant’s popularity, which means it can get very busy at times, especially on weekends.
The menu remains much the same, and the owners still boast of offering the “freshest fish and seafood.” A 14oz, dry aged sirloin strip steak with potatoes and assorted veggies will cost $36.95; 18 ounces of New Zealand Rack of lamb with all the trimmings is $35.50; the Porterhouse Steak, a whopping 42 ounces, on the bone, with potatoes and veggies is a mere $89.00.
If you like Sushi, this is the place to get it. Caviar? They do that too. Gentlemen are expected to wear a jacket for dinner. Reservations are a must. Open for lunch from 11:45am until 4pm, and for dinner from 6pm until 10pm; closed Sundays.
