Rarely will you come across a resort that offers such a diversity of guest accommodations as does The Lodge at Vail. Thirteen styles of room or suite are available. They range from the standard Lodge Room (there’s very little about it that could be classed as “standard”) to the ultimate in luxury: the Three Bedroom Penthouse:
Lodge Room:
Lodge Rooms are individually decorated and have either a king or two double beds. Views vary.
Studio Room
Studio Rooms are individually decorated and feature a fully equipped kitchen, and a wood-burning fireplace. Studio Rooms feature Murphy beds with a regular queen-sized mattress. Most Studio Rooms have a balcony; views vary.
Deluxe Room:
Deluxe Rooms feature elegant mountain decor, a king bed or two queen beds, an LCD flat-screen TV and a marble bathroom with towel warmers. Most Deluxe Rooms have a balcony; views vary.
Luxury Room:
Luxury Rooms, located in the Lodge's International Wing, have either a king or two queen beds and views of either Vail Mountain or The Wildflower courtyard. Each features an oversized bathroom with separate tub and shower, a double vanity and heated marble floors.
Executive Suite:
Executive Suites are elegantly decorated and feature a master bedroom, bathroom and living area. Views vary.
One Bedroom Condominium Suite:
One Bedroom Condominium Suites feature a fully equipped kitchen, living area with wood-burning fireplace, balcony, bedroom with either a king or two double beds, two bathrooms and most have a murphy bed. Each is individually decorated; views vary.
Deluxe One Bedroom Suite:
Deluxe One Bedroom Suites features a bedroom with king bed; an oversized bathroom with separate tub and shower, double vanity and heated marble floor; and a separate sitting area with gas fireplace, and a wet bar. Each suite also offers direct views of Vail Mountain.
Luxury One Bedroom Suite:
Luxury One Bedroom Suites are slightly larger than Deluxe One Bedroom Suites. Each features a bedroom with king bed; an oversized bathroom with separate tub and shower, double vanity and heated marble floor; and a separate sitting area with gas fireplace, wet bar, walk-in closet and additional powder room. Each suite also offers direct views of Vail Mountain.
Two Bedroom Condominium Suite:
Two Bedroom Suites are individually decorated and feature two bedrooms (bedding varies), three bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, separate living area with wood-burning fireplace, balcony, and most have a murphy bed. Views vary.
Deluxe Two Bedroom Condominium Suite:
Deluxe Two Bedroom Condominiums Suites are individually decorated and feature two bedrooms (bedding varies) and two bathrooms on the second level. The entry level features a fully equipped kitchen, living room with vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, wood-burning fireplace and balcony. Views vary.
Deluxe Three Bedroom Condominium Suite:
Deluxe Three Bedroom Condominium Suites are individually decorated and feature two bedrooms (bedding varies) and two bathrooms on the second level. The entry level features a third bedroom, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, living room with vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, wood-burning fireplace and balcony. Views vary.
Three Bedroom Penthouse:
This exquisitely decorated penthouse suite features three bedrooms with three en suite marble bathrooms, two private terraces, a fully-equipped kitchen, and an elegant alpine living area with hardwood floors with a fireplace. The penthouse also boasts some of the most spectacular views of Vail Mountain.
Game Creek Chalet:
Located 2,000 feet above Vail Village, nestled in the glades of Vail's Game Creek Bowl, rests the cozy newly-remodeled Game Creek Chalet. This ski-in/ski-out, three-bedroom plus an entertainment room, five-bath, European-style retreat features a fireplace, outdoor hot tub, private chef and breathtaking views of the Vail Valley.

How to Get There:
The best option, in my opinion, is to fly into Denver International Airport, then rent a car and drive over to Vail. It should take no more than a couple of hours and the scenery along the way is spectacular.
