Amelia Island Plantation Spa: "Miles from stress - footsteps from the sea™," the new Spa at Amelia Island Plantation is a 13,200 square foot facility built in the old Florida architectural style to blend with the natural surroundings. The luxury spa features 25 treatment rooms, a meditation garden, sweeping views of lagoons and moss-draped oaks. The signature treatment is Watsu®, a unique signature concept for rejuvenation and wellness, and the facility, Watsu Island was designed exclusively for The Spa at Amelia Island Plantation. Other unique treatments available at the Amelia Island Plantation Spa include:

  • Aromatherapy Salt Glow & Vichy Shower
  • Detoxifying Seaweed Body Mask
  • Desert Heat Body Wrap
  • Sea Dream Anti-Stress Body Wrap & Massage
  • Seaweed Bath
  • Total Body Moor Mud Mask
  • Plantomer or Sun Lover's Facial
  • Oxygenating Facial
  • RS2 Rosacea Facial
  • Reflexology

On arrival, you will be welcomed by a spa receptionist and shown to the women's or men's dressing room where you will change into robe and slippers. Then you will be taken to a relaxation area overlooking the meditation garden and offered a refreshment. Your therapist will escort you to a private treatment room and leave the room while you disrobe. For a full body massage, most people undress completely although you may wear undergarments if it helps you feel more comfortable. During the massage you will be covered at all times; only the area of the body being treated is exposed. The benefits of hydrotherapies are best received without clothing. If you wish, however, a bathing suit may be worn.
