The Grand Club Pine Course, renovated in 2006, is an Arnold Palmer Signature design and properly ranked as one of Florida's best courses. The wide open layout features fairways with generous landing areas, white sand bunkers strategically placed to guard the typically Palmer large, undulating greens. Many of the holes are surrounded by water hazards of one sort or another: are lakes, ponds, canals and creeks. Arnie has provided four sets of tees to make to make the Grand Club Pine Course enjoyable for players of all levels of skill. It’s a great course for the mid-to-high handicapper; for the big-hitting low handicapper, it can be forgiving. All-in-all, the layout offers one and all the opportunity to card a good score.

I suppose any of the hotels listed in my Palm Coast guide would work well, but I suggest you give the Holiday Inn St. Augustine Beach a try. I’ve stayed there a number of time and I loved it. It’s reasonable and close to the golf course: Compare Prices for nights at Holiday Inn St. Augustine Beach
