Windsor Parke Golf Club, Jacksonville, is an Arthur Hills masterpiece, one that’s played host to five national USGA qualifying tournaments including the US Open. Rated four stars in Golf Digest's "Best Places to Play," there’s no denying that Windsor Parke Golf Club is one of Northeast Florida’s best.

A premier 18-hole championship golf course that features rolling fairways, strategically-placed sand traps and the dramatic elevation changes typical of an Arthur Hills layout, the course is known to be an enjoyable round of golf: the National Golf Course Owner's Association has recognized it as the only certified "Beginner Friendly" club in Jacksonville. Located between the beaches and downtown, the club is just 35 minutes from Jacksonville airport.

The 18-hole "Windsor Parke" course in Jacksonville, Florida plays 6,765 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.9 and it has a slope rating of 133. Designed by Arthur Hills, ASGCA, the Windsor Parke golf course opened in 1990.

The Verdict: This is a great course for beginners. The landing areas off the tee are generous, the fairways are open and the layout is not an overly difficult one, even for a novice. Low handicappers playing from the tips will find that there are enough sand traps and water hazards to keep the round interesting. Great value for the money.

Green Fees: $20 to $68 depending on the day of week and time of year, includes cart; subject to change, so please check with the golf club for up to date rates
