Burn Pine Golf Club is a Rees Jones Design. No course in Northwest Florida has received more accolades than Burnt Pine. The course opened for play in 1994 and has been popular with its visitors ever since. The 18-hole layout is a credit to its designer. The fairways have been described as “tumbling,” as they meander around the course where wetlands and marshes form the backdrop of an environmental treasure. Water also plays a big part in Rees’ design. In fact, water is in play on 14 holes of the 18 holes, including three holes on the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay, the highlight the back nine. Burnt Pine and The Raven are side by side, and Sandestin is the only place in the world where you will find Robert Trent Jones J. and Rees Jones courses together. Burnt Pine is heavily bunkered, the greens are not large, but not small either, but they undulate and can be extremely fast at times. All this makes for an exceptional and challenging round of golf.

Burnt Pine plays at tough par 72 over 7,001-yards with four sets of tees designed to make the course playable for golfers of all levels of skill.
