I think this unique promotion by the folks at Emerald Coast has the potential for a lot of fun - check out the image of the couple on the beach. And you only have to watch America's Funniest Home Vidios to know what I mean. I've lost count of the crazy moments I've had on the golf course. But it's not all about crazy/funny moments. This promotion is:
“For anyone who has ever wanted to be a star, forget the Golden Globes and Red Carpet, it's time for My Emerald Moment.
“Did you make that hole in one and catch it on film? Did your son reel in his first “big catch” while you watched in awe? Maybe you were proposed to on the beach at sunset, while a stranger filmed your joyous reaction?
“Whatever your Emerald Moment is, the folks who run things at the Emerald Coast want to hear about it. The “My Emerald Moment” promotion is launching March 1st and they are encouraging people to submit their favorite experience, funny incident or outrageous occasion that took place at the Emerald Coast, encompassing the southern sea towns of Destin, Fort Walton Beach and Okaloosa Island.
“One winner will be chosen from each of the following categories: family, fishing, golf and bridal.”
Winners from each category will win a 5-day/4-night stay at one of the following Emerald Coast accommodations:
- Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village
- Four Points by Sheraton - Destin/Fort Walton Beach
- ResortQuest - Real Estate and Vacation Rentals
- Sterling Resorts
The rules of the “My Emerald Moment” promotion are simple:
- Log on to www.myemeraldmoment.com and submit an entry form.
- Click on the link to YouTube and upload your video.
- Contestants have until 5:00 p.m. on Labor Day to submit entry forms and videos.
Contestants may use existing footage or create something new for the promotion.
