The Links Course, the second Tom Jackson design at Sandestin Golf and Beacg Resort, winds along the shore of the Choctawhatchee Bay. The Links opened for play in 1973. They say it’s “a shotmaker's” course where accuracy and proper club selection are a must to negotiate the fairways and constant breeze that blows in off the Gulf Coast winds. AS with the other Sandestin course, water ia prevelant over most of the Links Course. In fact, water is in play on 14 of the 18 holes; five of the holes actually on the bay shore. The greens are generous, undulating and, depending of the weather, moderately fast. The links is a pretty course. I like it.
The Links plays at tough par 72 over 6,710-yards off the championship tees. Four sets of tees make the course playable for golfers of all levels of skill.
