Osprey Ridge Golf Course is the only course at Disney World NOT designed by Joe Lee. A Tom Fazio layout with dramatically elevated tees and greens, nine holes with waterin play, and more than 70 strategically placed bunkers for a tough, but enjoyable round of golf. The gently rolling fairways are bounded with forests of scrub oaks, pine, palmetto, cypress and bay trees. Large, links-style dunes guard the undulating and often difficult to read greens and offer a unique and challenging short-game experience. Osprey Ridge has been recognized as one of the best courses in Florida by Golf Digest's "Places to Play.” Golf Magazine has awarded Osprey Ridge its Gold Medal endorsement as one of the top 25 resorts in the United States.
Osprey Ridge, one of four golf courses at the Walt Disney World Golf Courses facility in Kissimmee, Florida features 7,101 yards of golf, if you play from the back tees, for a par of 72 . The course rating is 73.9 and it has a slope rating of 135 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Tom Fazio, ASGCA, the Osprey Ridge golf course opened in 1992.
For tee times, call 407-939-4653 between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm daily. A guarantee with a major credit card is required on all advance reservations. Cancellation must be made 48 hours in advance. The price includes the greens fee and cart rental but does not include applicable taxes.
The Other Walt Disney World Golf Courses:
Proper dress code is required on all Disney World Golf Courses: for men polo shirts with a collar or turtleneck shirts, Bermuda length shorts or slacks. Women's dress requirements include a polo shirt with collar or a suitable blouse or shirt with or without a collar, skirt, slacks, Bermuda shorts.
If you are staying at one of the Walt Disney World Resorts, Disney will provide complimentary transportation to the golf courses. Simply contact the bell services the night before and let them know the course and tee time. Disney Bell services will give you a voucher for the cab fare and will arrange a taxi for you.
