The Courses:

Grand Cypress Resort Golf Club – North, South and East:

Grand Cypress Resort Golf Club, comprises three Jack Nicklaus, signature nine-hole layouts: the North, South and East. All three can be played in any combination two to make 18 holes. Whatever the combination, they offer s a variety of tests of accuracy and shot-making.

The North and South nines, the original course built in 1984, feature terraced fairways, generous landing areas, mounds and platform greens with yawning bunkers. The East nine was added in 1986 and is considered to be a little more generous, with fewer bunkers, particularly in front of the greens, allowing more run-up shots. The South Course was completely renovated and rebuilt, summer of 2007. The North Course has also been completely renovated and is scheduled to reopen November 14, 2008.

Grand Cypress Resort Golf Club – New Course:

This beautifully designed Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course opened in 1988 to great fanfare. Inspired by his experiences at, and love for, St. Andrews Old Course, Jack has gone to great lengths to create a "links-style" design reminiscent of St. Andrews: more than 150 bunkers, elevated tees and greens, stone walls, a winding burn (including a stone bridge crossing), and seven huge, double greens. He even created fair replicas of the world-famous first and 18th holes at St. Andrews Old Course and his own version of the Road Hole. It’s a tough course, very much in the tradition of the Old Course, but caters to golfers of every level of skill.
