There are several great places to eat at Marco Island Marriott. In fact, they seem to be able to cater to just about every requirement from a quick, midday snack to fine dining on a grand scale. And they are new restaurants and café’s as they go. My personal favorites are listed below.

Tropiks

Tropiks is, arguably, one of the most versatile eateries I’ve ever come across. It’s open from early morning until late evening and, no matter the time of day, they seem to be busy. Featured cuisines that move from the ordinary to the extraordinary are enjoyed throughout the day and are sure to satisfy even the largest appetites.

For breakfast you can choose from a wide a la carte menu with such delicacies as Smoked Salmon on a toasted bagel to Eggs Benedict, or you can hit the All America Breakfast Bar and fill up to your heart’s content on all the traditional goodies.

For lunch you might like to try a Portobello Sandwich with the mushrooms marinated in aged Balsamic Vinaigrette, or maybe you’d like a burger – if so, you can’t go wrong with a Napa Burger: 8 ounces charbroiled with Maytag Blue Cheese topped with applewood smoked bacon.

For dinner you couldn’t make a better choice than Prime Rib: grilled corned beef with au jus and sour cream horseradish.

Tropiks is a family-oriented restaurant that offers guests an array of trendy comfort foods and a whole host of special island dishes, including an incredible cheeseburger in paradise.

Tropiks is open for breakfast from 7:00 am until 11:00 am; lunch from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm (Seasonal) and for dinner from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm . A Children's menu is available.

Quinn’s

Quinn's on the Beach is the number one spot for relaxed island fare, with unique appetizers, specialty sandwiches, burgers and cool tropical drinks.

We usually go to places like Marco to savor the “full-island experience,” especially the cuisine. I’ve found few beachfront restaurants anywhere that fulfils that experience quite like Quinn’s does. Caribbean-style seafood and steak specialties, unique island appetizers, special sandwiches and tropical drinks, all complemented by breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico and unimaginably gorgeous sunsets offer a really romantic experience. There’s live entertainment nightly which, far from being noisy and intrusive, only adds to the overall experience: lilting Caribbean calypsos and the romantic sounds of a steel band playing against the soft background of the ocean washing onto the white sand just below. Add a full moon and you have a very special setting for an experience you’ll probably never forget.

Quinn's is casual . . . No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem!

Kurrents

Kurrents is Marco Island Marriott’s fine dining experience. The dining room is elegant, the lighting soft and subdued, the atmosphere upscale and romantic.

When the sun goes down and the lights come up, you can stroll over to Kurrents for seafood, steaks and creative cuisine – you simply have to try the Grilled Double Silverado Lamb Chops with a Port Wine Rosemary Glaze, fingerling bananas and Red Thumb Potatoes.

If you love seafood, this is the place for you: exciting ocean cuisine with delicate sauces, sweet spices and tempting new dishes you’re not likely to find elsewhere.

The hallmark of the Kurrents dining experience is the open Exhibition Kitchen. It provides unique look at what goes on behind the scenes in a world-class restaurant. Reservations suggested.

Finally, now you've checked out the dining opportunities at Marco Island Marriott Golf Club & Spa, don't forget to check for new Florida Golf information and updates.
