Not being a tennis player myself, it’s hard for me to review this type of facility. I will, however, give you the highlights as I see them. The tennis center at Rio Mar Beach Golf Resort, Casino & Spa is ranked by Roger Cox at Tennis Resorts On-line as being among the top 50 in the world. The center is a Peter Burwash facility and offers what’s claimed to be one of the finest programs in the Caribbean.
The tennis center is set among the natural wet-lands that make up the Rio Grand region of Puerto Rico against a spectacular backdrop of the distant El Yunque rainforest. Peter Burwash International is justifiably proud of its professionals and there’s no doubt that they can, and do, add to the overall enjoyment of the experience. If you consider that the tennis center is but a small part of the Rio Mar resort which includes one of the finest beaches in the Caribbean, two excellent championship golf courses, a world-class spa, and a full-service dive shop, tennis enthusiasts can figure they’ll lack for little when they book a package at Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa.
