I love this hole. It's a seemingly endless par 5 (actually it's just 543 yards off the gold tee, 481 off the white) that doglegs dramatically to the left about 260 yards out at the point where your tee shot should finish. The landing area is tight, with water to the left and thick rough to the right. The second shot also requires accuracy - the ruins you see in the photograph are part of a long-abandoned Portuguese dwelling. Unfortunately, it's placed, along with several tall trees, right at the point where your second shot will finish if you are even slightly left of the fairway making it almost impossible to shoot at the green. A well-placed second, however, will leave an easy shot into the green, if you can avoid the monster that lies in wait to the right front, that is.
