The 4th is a short dogleg left, the temptation is to try to carry the left-hand fairway bunker to leave a short iron approach shot. To carry the bunker will need an accurate shot or the ball could easily be lost in the deep rough to the right. This sloping, elevated green is heavily guarded by two bunkers guard at left front, with a third bunker on the right. Any shot going long beyond the green will provide a tough shot back to save par. The green is the most undulating on the course with a ridge separating the left and right portions.
