The 12th played as the most difficult hole in both the 78th and 82nd PGA Championships. A very tough par 4, it requires that every shot be accurate. The pros MUST hit a good tee shot to set up the for a mid to long iron into the green. As you might well expect, the green is well protected. One of the deepest bunkers on the course lies in wait just to the right front - everywhere else... deep bluegrass rough. The narrow green slopes toward the center of the green, but it also undulates a dozen different ways, making a single putt for par a real challenge.
