Review of Crown Park Golf Club, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Crown Park Golf Club, Myrtle Beach - A Review

By , About.com Guide

Crown Park Golf Club, Myrtle Beach, is another member of the Classic Golf conglomerate. It’s also a fairly new course, having opened for play in 2001.

Course Specifications:

Designed and built by Robbie Byers, the 18-hole, par 72 at Crown Park Course plays 6,477 yards off the Champion tees for a course rating of 71.2 and a slope of 125. With four sets of tees to make play enjoyable to players of all levels of skill, however, low scores are achievable, especially from the much shorter forward tees where the course plays just 6.004 yards, though still maintaining its par of 72.

Green Fees: $45 to $75 (approx., depending upon the time of year and day of the week)

Special & Packages:

  • None at present

Where to Stay:

The nearby Myrtlewood Golf Resort might be a good choice. It has two golf courses and its own on-site accommodations. Failing that, there are literally dozens of hotels and motels in the Myrtle Beach area. So no matter what your budget or choice in lodging, you can easily put Crown Park into your golf vacation plans. You might also consider the The Kingston Plantation. It's not too far from Crown Park and you can include the courses as part of one of their specials.

But why not check out all the options and Compare Local Hotel/Resort Prices

How to Get There:

By Air: The closest regional airport is the Myrtle Beach Airport. The airport is served by Delta, Continental, US Air, SpiritAir, and several others.

Look for the best airline and car rental deals with these two aggregators, which provide travelers with an up-to-date search tool to compare prices on airfares and car rentals of all ratings:

Only in Myrtle Beach will you find such a diversity of golf courses and resorts to choose from. Crown Park Golf Club is a good pich, and one I can personally recommend.
