Located some 30 miles from the Strip, this highly-acclaimed layout is talked about often in whispers, Cascata is one of Rees Jones’ masterpieces and, arguably, one of the finest tracks in the world. Cascata derives its name from the Italian word for "waterfall," which is appropriate because a 418-foot waterfall cascades into a thundering river. A magnificent championship course set among dramatic scenery and a backdrop that includes the 3600-foot peak of Red Mountain. Cascata is a wonderful world of luxuriant fairways, sparkling lakes, and crystal streams. Did I mention that it’s expensive? A round at Cascata costs $500, which includes the services of a a tour-class caddie.
The 37,000-square-foot opulent clubhouse also offers guests world-class amenities: you’ll have a personalized locker for the day, full use of the practice facility, and you’ll receive a personalized bag tag as well as complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages from the beverage cart. Hummm….
The 18-hole Cascata course plays 7,137 yards from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 74.6 and it has a slope rating of 143. Cascata was designed by Rees Jones and opened for play in 2000.
