Wynn Las Vegas Golf Course means, in a word, exclusive. I review it here, though only in a rudimentary way, because it is one of the better golf courses in the greater Las Vegas area. Now I love any course that carries the Tom Fazio label, but I never have, and never will, pay $500 for a round of golf, Fazio or not. Even at the famed PGA Player’s Stadium course at Sawgrass, a round will not cost anything like it does at Wynn. And when I said the Wynn Las Vegas Golf Course was exclusive, I meant you can’t even get a peak at it from the street; a tall chain-link fence covered in a green tarp guards the view from the road and makes even a glimpse of the lush, green world a virtual impossibility. Still, if you are a part of the jet-setting world, this remarkable Tom Fazio layout must be included on your list of must-play courses in Las Vegas.
The 18-hole "Wynn" course at the The Wynn Golf Club facility plays 7,042 yards from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course rating is 73.9 and it has a slope rating of 124. It was designed by Thomas Fazio and opened for play in 2005.
