Guide Review - New "Rapture" Metal Golf Clubs From Ping

Just when you think golf club technology has advanced about as far as it can go, inevitably something new will hit the pro shop. So it is with the new metal clubs from Ping.

The new Rapture driver is not only eye-catching, it’s a combination of titanium and carbon composite and incorporates a “visible, web-shaped titanium crown injected with lightweight composite” designed to induce a higher launch characteristic and less spin which, in turn, is supposed to make it that much more forgiving off the tee.

The Rapture fairway clubs, made from 100% titanium, feature a large head with an internal weight pad inserted directly below the center of gravity. Again, the idea here is to increase the launch angle and reduce spin for a more forgiving execution.

The new Rapture clubs from Ping look good, feel good and, hopefully, will do wonders for your game. To learn more, visit the Ping website. You’ll find the link below.
