The Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa is a luxury complex located in a stunning desert setting. Set on 360 acres within the Rancho Mirage community at the corner of Bob Hope and Dinah Shore drives, named for two celebrities intimately associated with the game of golf, and golf is the most important of the Mission Hills facilities.

Two world-class golf courses and extensive recreational facilities, including a first-class spa, several pools - one with a 60-foot water slide – mean you’ll be able to take full advantage of the ideal climate which, in turn, means there’s an outstanding opportunity here for a memorable, one-of-a-kind golf vacation.

Two championship courses are available to guests. Branded by golf legends Gary Player and Pete Dye, the Gary Player Signature Course and the Pete Dye Resort Course are all about the traditions of golf in the Southwest, and the prestige that goes with two great names of golf course design.

The Pete Dye Course, a 6,706-yard, par 70, award-winning championship layout, is one of Dye’s most enjoyable designs and it incorporates all of his trademarks, including the use of railroad ties, pot bunkers, elevated tees and hidden pin placements. The rolling fairways, water hazards, and four sets of tees provide a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. The Pete Dye Course is just steps away from the resort and is set against the stunning backdrop of San Jacinto mountains. It’s one of the Palm Springs area’s loveliest, but toughest courses.

Gary Player’s Signature Course plays a tough 7,062 yards, par 72, and is the only one in the area designed by the legendary South African. Its particular location captures the essence and beauty of the surrounding desert and the magnificent mountains beyond. Gary Player’s Signature Course, designed for golfers of all levels of skill, is recognized as one of Southern California’s premier daily-fee facilities. The Bermuda greens are linked by rolling fairways, old-growth trees, meandering streams, more than 20 acres of lakes, and four waterfalls. GOLF Magazine praised this remarkable course as being “difficult, well-designed, and joyful” and that it “may be the best golf course in the Palm Springs area.” The course is renowned for Player’s careful attention to the environment and his efforts tp preserve and enhance the natural beauty of the desert landscape.

The Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa itself is surrounded by landscaped courtyards and extensive waterways. It’s a relaxing desert setting where the sun always shines, the stars are always bright, the golf is challenging and ultimately enjoyable, and the accommodations are luxurious to the point of decadence.

Each of the 472 guest rooms offers a private patio, the Westin’s signature Heavenly Bed® and Heavenly Bath®. In addition, there are 30 Resort Suites, each with a separate parlor, and eight Presidential Suites with separate dining areas, whirlpool tubs and three outdoor patios.

No grand resort would be complete without a full-service spa, and The Westin Mission Hills Resort is no exception. Recently expanded to more than 14,000-square-feet, The Spa at Mission Hills offers a full range of treatments and a large, well-equipped fitness center. It’s the ideal spot to unwind after a full day on the golf courses.
