Part of my job here at About.com is to visit, photograph and write about golf courses and resorts around the world - it's rough, nasty job, but someone has to do it, right? Well, during the course of my travels, I am sometimes lucky enough to visit, not just a great golf course, but an exceptional one: the Greg Norman course at Red Sky is one such course. Here are some photographs I think will prove my point.

The Greg Norman Golf Course at Red Sky Plays 7,580 yards from the tips for par 71. The course is rated 74.1 with a slope of 145. As with most Norman-designed courses, this one can play tough. It does, however, have five sets of tee boxes designed to make play enjoyable for golfers of all levels of skill, and so it does. The scenery around the course is spectacular, to say the least, and little expense has been spared to make this a world-class experience. Enjoy!

The first photograph shows, naturally, a view of the first hole. It was taken from a spot some 200 feet above the course and shows the layout of the fairway. The hole, a par 4 of 452 yards, is a tough opener, but the landing area is quite generous and the approach is fairly open.
