Anderson Country Club is an 18-hole, regulation length golf course in Anderson, South Carolina.
A bit on the short side at 6,402 yards off the back markers, the golf course can, at times, play decidedly tough. The Anderson Country Club layout was designed by renowned golf course architect, Tom Bendelow, which means that some of the holes are quite thought-provoking, challenging and certainly interesting but, with its often generous landing areas, it can also be quite forgiving. Bendelow also designed East Lake in Atlanta, and Medinah 1, 2, and 3 in Chicago. Both of these prestigious clubs have been hosts to many PGA events.
The par at Anderson is 71, the slope 123, and the course rating is just 70; the course has a driving range and pro shop.
Located just minutes from both downtown Greenville and Clemson University and just two hours from both Atlanta and Charlotte, Anderson Country Club was established in 1918.
