Sweetwater Country Club is a Semi-private, Public Access Golf Course
An 18-hole regulation length golf course in Barnwell, South Carolina, this somewhat short, par 71 layout of 6,248 yards from the blue championship tees, has a course rating of 70.8 with a slope of 118. There are four sets of tee boxes (blue, white, gold and red). The fairways are narrow, the greens small, making for a fun, but often challenging golfing experience.
The front nine is all wetlands and scrub. Water is in play on three of the front nine holes. The back nine is rolling uplands with more water in play on three of the back nine holes.
The club has a driving range, pro shop, swimming pool, bar and dining room.
Green Fees: $20 to $38 including cart fee.
