The 18th Hole at Bahia Golf Course at St. Regis Punta Mita Resort could indeed be called "one of God's gifts to golf." A long par 5 of 543 yards from the longest tees, it doglegs slightly left to an undulating, elongated green on the edge of the ocean. The view all a long the way in over this very special finishing hole is stunning. To play it is a privilege indeed. It's not too difficult a hole. Yes, you'll need to be careful, especially of that vast waste bunker off to the left, but the way in is quite generous; you can even play a bump and run. Go long though and it's goodbye as your ball rolls off the back of the green and away. I loved this hole.
