The Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa is located on what was once the Rogers-Wiseman ranch. A 200-acre up-scale estate just off Highway 151 in the Northwest part of San Antonio directly across from Sea World of Texas, the resort is only 15 minutes from Six Flags Fiesta Texas Theme Park, 20 minutes from downtown San Antonio and its famous River Walk and the historic Alamo.
Hyatt Hill Country rooms are luxurious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Aside from the 27 holes of Arthur Hills designed golf, there are two spectacular pools separated by cascading waterfall, a 950-foot Ramblin' River, a fully equipped exercise center offering massage and outdoor whirlpool, a world-class spa and a couple of fine restaurants to boot.
The Golf Courses:
The three Arthur Hills-designed nine-hole courses are set on more than 200 acres of wide-ranging terrain with tracts of woodland, rolling meadows, steep hillsides, wooded ravines and tree-shaded plateaus, along with a series of lakes and ponds. Please read my review of the golf courses.
Accommodations:
Hyatt Hill Country rooms feature one king or two double Grand Beds with pillow-top mattresses. The décor includes rich woods, leather furnishings and muted colors. Additional amenities include high-speed Internet access, a generous work area, leather armchair, granite countertops, deluxe Portico bath products, and Hyatt Stereo with an iPod dock; all this along with the usual amenities – ironing board, coffee maker, hair dryer; you know, all the small stuff that makes life on the road bearable.

Yes, it’s well said, and I can personally vouch the truth in what they say. The Windflower Hill Country Spa is, and offers, a one-of-a-kind experience.
